Family Ties

A man named Joe came into my life, my daughter's life, and my family's life. He is connected to us to many ways. I was fortunate to meet his father before he died. What an imposing figure, both an "old coot" tough guy but also of a gentle nature. I think he has inspired Joe to take a risk. First it was a marathon and now a new challenge.
