My art friend, Minori lives in Japan. I have gotten to know her through many art exchanges. She's doing a remarkable job of corresponding in English and I have learned a lot from her. One of the big things that I have gleaned is that even though she lives on the other side of the world with a culture and language barrier...we're the same. She is a woman my age with the same experiences, joys, and desires. We're sisters, so to speak and I am excited that I have had the opportunity to find this out! Minori took this photo of her climbing roses in the front of her home. Beautiful!
